Forgive me Father for I have sinned. It has been one week since my last confession.
I conducted a little social experiment on social media this last week. I made a few posts objecting to censorship. Some responded to my comments opposing my point of view. So, I blocked them from commenting and deleted responses from eight people.
The result, while not surprising, was fascinating. Of those eight, five contacted me privately to object that their response was removed. Two were extremely angry. It seems many are okay with censorship - as long as they are not the one being censored. Isn’t it funny how that works?
I will now go say five Hail Mary’s.
