RIC: I was thinking of making French toast for breakfast this morning.
ME: That sounds great.
RIC: But we only have regular bread.
ME: That’s fine.
RIC: No. It has to be thick bread - like Texas toast.
ME: It does not need to be thick. Mama always used regular bread.
RIC: But I prefer it thick. You know I like more substance.
ME: Okay. So, we will pick up thick bread while we are the grocery.
RIC: We need to pick up thin noodles too,
ME: But I thought you preferred thick?
RIC: I like thick bread for French toast but thin noodles for spaghetti.
ME: How did get spaghetti get into our breakfast plans.
RIC: That’s for dinner tonight
ME: Open the wine.
