Such a Bother

A few months ago, New York State wanted to cancel its Democratic primary. After all, Joe had pretty much secured the nomination, so why bother?

Then the New York Times said that we shouldn't have party conventions. They are just for pomp and circumstance, after all, so, why bother?

Now, Pelosi says we should cancel the debates. She doesn't want to legitimize a conversation with Trump, so, why bother?

Sounds like some would like to just do away with elections altogether. After all, they are such a bother.
