While running for Guardian of the Coop . . .
the Red Fox promised that, if elected. he would protect the chickens against the evils lurking outside of the coop;
the Blue Fox promised that, if elected, each chicken would be given an equal share of all of the eggs.
Their promises did not really matter though, because regardless of who won the election, the chickens still elected a fox to guard the hen house.
