DAWG: Hurry. Hurry. Hurry.
ME: I’m coming.
DAWG: Look, I’m squatting.
ME: Dawg - No! I’m coming.
[Pawing at the door]
DAWG: You better hurry.
ME: I’m here. I’m opening the door.
DAWG: I can’t wait.
ME: There you are. You know where to go.
[Bounds out the door and to the right as I follow. Dog waits and turns around to make sure I am there and that I can see him. Dog squas and watches me pull treat from my pocket.]
DAWG: Ahhh, There we go. You saw that, right? You saw me squat, right? I am good boy. Where’s my treat?
ME: You squatted but you didn’t go.
DAWG: But, you saw me. I squatted. Where’s my treat?
ME: You cannot pretend to go just for a treat. Do you think I’m stupid?
LOUIE: Well, I didn’t say it - you did.
